Student Rate* provides full access to the 2018 Conference. To qualify to use this special rate you must meet the following qualifications: be a SHRM Student member, a SHRM student chapter member and provide us with your school schedule when registering. Additionally, you must commit to working one (1) four (4) hour shift as assigned at the conference.
Guest Rate* provides Conference Guests with access to the Marketplace, planned meals and entertainment. Access to Pre Conference, Keynote and Concurrent Sessions is NOT included. To upgrade to full access simply visit onsite Registration and pay the difference to upgrade to an Attendee Full Conference rate.
An Attendee Group Discount is available for groups of 5 or more paying with one credit card, save $45 per registration off the individual attendee rate at the time of registration.
What is included in the Conference Registration?
Your conference registration includes all conference-planned receptions, meals and breaks as well as entertainment. Be sure to indicate any dietary restrictions when registering.

Cancellation/Returned Check Policy:
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing and will be assessed a $75 administrative fee. Cancellations made prior to April 13, 2018 will receive a full refund, less the administrative fee. Cancellations made after April 13, 2018 are non-refundable. However, the attendee may transfer/assign their registration to another person at no charge if we are notified by April 20, 2018.

All cancellation requests must be made in writing by email to: firstname.lastname@example.org. An email confirmation from the Registration Coordinator must be received in order for a refund to take place. Refunds will be paid by check within 30 days of approval.
Should a check be returned to VASHRM as NSF, a service charge of $50 will be assessed along with the cost of the event attendance in accordance with Va. Code Ann. 8.01-27.1 (2003).

The 2016 VASHRM Conference has booked all 483 rooms at the Homestead Sunday, April 22, 2018 – Wednesday, April 25, 2018.
– Availability: Rooms are available for Attendees on a first come first serve basis until the rooms are sold out.
– Rates: Room rates start at $145/night plus 10% resort fee, taxes & parking
– Deposit: 1 night’s stay will be charged to your credit card at time of registration.
– Extended Stay: Extend your stay up to 3 days before/after the conference at the conference rate, subject to availability.
– Check-In/Check-Out: Check-in time 4:00 PM and check-out 12:00 NOON.
– Cancellations: You need to cancel your reservation, be sure to cancel at least 7 days prior to arrival. Cancellations within seven days of arrival will be charged 1 night’s room rate, tax and resort charge
– ROOM SHARING: To maximize all available Homestead rooms, we encourage room sharing with a friend or colleague and doing so may even earn you a free room upgrade from the VASHRM Conference team!
The Omni Homestead Resort Room Reservation Process:
You must register for the 2018 VASHRM Conference before you can make your Homestead reservation. Your Conference confirmation will contain the information needed to make your Homestead reservation. Prior VASHRM Conferences at the Homestead have sold out. Register for the conference and book your room to guarantee a room at The Homestead!
Speakers & Sponsors:
Please do NOT contact the Reservations directly to secure your rooms. The 2018 Conference Committee is responsible for collecting rooming information from you and for making your Homestead reservations.You will be responsible for payment of all room charges, taxes & fees as agreed.
Historically, rooms at The Omni Homestead Resort sell-out long before the conference begins. Because of this past experience, we do recommend you explore and secure other area accommodations.
