Reserving a Room at the Homestead

After you have registered for HR2aT and your payment is confirmed, within a few days a you will receive a email from our Conference registration committee with a code to make your room reservation at the Homestead.  You may use the code to register at www.TheHomestead.com or by calling 800-838-1766.

Homestead reservations must be received by March 22, 2012 or until the room block has been filled.  A deposit equal to one night’s room rate $129.00 plus 10% resort charge and applicable taxes will automatically be charged to your credit card 30 days prior to your arrival to guarantee your reservation.  Reservations can be made with Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Diner’s Club, and Discover.  Confirmed reservations are based on room availability.  Deposit is refundable if notice of cancellation is received at least 7 days prior to your scheduled arrival date.

Check-in is after 4:00 p.m.  Check-out is before 12:00 noon.

Enjoy extra time at the Homestead. Subject to availability, the $129/night room rate plus 10% resort charge and applicable taxes is available to conference attendees three days before and three days after the 2012 conference dates.

Parking. You have the option to park in the self-park lots and upper overflow lot via van shuttle at no charge or use Valet parking at $15 per day.

Spa and Recreation. Advance reservations and appointments are required for all Spa and Recreation activities to ensure preferred times.  Please call 800-838-1766.

Restaurant Dining for Dinner. Buffet dinner arrangements for conference attendees and exhibitors during the conference (Monday breakfast through Wednesday breakfast) is included in your conference registration or exhibit fee.  Should you choose to dine separately in one of The Homestead’s restaurants, or if you wish to dine before or after the conference, advance reservations (800-838-1766) are required to enjoy dinner in the Dining Room or The 1766 Grille. Non-conference food and beverage expenses are not included in your conference registration.

Attire. During the conference, business casual attire is fine for all conference activities.  If you are staying at the Homestead before or after the conference, please note jeans are discouraged in The Great Hall, and in the evening, collared shirt and jacket are required in the Dining Room and The 1766 Grille, tie optional in the dining room.
